Acceptable standard of apartments....however this could be improved with some updating.....painting etc. Hotel reception staff however were excellent and responded well to guests needs. Many Thanks to them. Overall we had a pleasant week's stay and we would go back again.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. There was nothing that they wouldn't do if able. We had booked a Deluxe room and on arrival were given a complimentary drink and snack. The Deluxe lounge was a lovely area away from the crowds in the bar if time out was needed. Food was good and the chefs were friendly. There was so much space. You could site in the bar, or find a quiet table for a game. The town centre was only a short walk away and the beach was literally outside the gate.

just back from a week here, first time staying at a Diamond Resort. Would give everything 10 out of 10 as could find no fault. We had the accessible room which was brilliant. Pleanty of room to move around. Roll in shower with all the equipment in place. A short distance to the reception, pool & restaurant/bar. We looked out onto the carpark with the main road in front but even that wasn't a problem as the sun was there whilst we layed on our sun loungers in the morning and promptly fell asleep. It would have been nice having a pool view, HOWEVER, the accessible room was more important and it was a quick less than 1 minute roll to the pool for the view. The hoist at the pool was an added bonus and allowed the other half to go swimming everyday - the pool girl attendant was brilliant at getting him in and out of the pool every day with no complications and always a smile on her face. The food in the restaurant was very good value for money and huge portions. All the staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were not pestered by timeshare sales people, and would not hesitate to stay at a diamond resort again if not a member as the attention to detail is second to none. It is about a 20 minute walk to the main square or we got a taxi each time and it cost just over 3 euro and the taxi rank is just outside the hotel grounds. Loads of them there from 18:30 onwards and reception will call a taxi if required.

From the moment we arrived and one of the staff came out to the car to get our bags we knew we had made a good choice. All the staff were great and so were the restaurants. Only blip was losing WiFi in the room but only minor.

A hotel right by the promenade and very close to a sandy beach. Three sections, one for families, one for anyone and one for adults only (Prestige). The upgrade to Prestige well worth it for couples with its tranquil pool area, its own refreshments bar, and its own excellent restaurant service and dedicated staff.

My family and I spent 5 days here. If you are looking for some peace and quiet - then this is the place. Staff constantly check if you are happy. The restaurant staff are brilliant - even on Christmas Day they were working with a smile. Chefs are great too.
Kids liked the jacuzzi. Two areas they could improve on is having a heated swimming pool and maybe a bit more fun for kids (I had two boys - 7 and 11 years old).
Overall, fully recommend this place to anyone!!!

The original port and fishing village maintain an agreeable low-key buzz with good bars and restaurants, but it is the beaches that make Playa Blanca famous. West of the centre, on past the new and expanding fashionable Marina Rubicón, and a clutch of luxury hotels, lie the island’s finest golden white coves, known collectively as the Papagayo beaches. Three small cafes are the only development in this protected area.
