We stayed here for a long weekend for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is in a great location within sight of Parliament and Big Ben and within easy walking distance of the nearest tube station (Vauxhall). The view from the hotel restaurant is lovely and the food is great too. There was a wide variety of food to choose from at breakfast.

Had a fantastic 2-night stay over half-term. Great location within spitting distance of London Eye, the South Bank and over the bridge to the West End. We chose it for the family room - a large double room on one side, kitchenette and bathroom in the centre and a sitting room on the other. The latter had a sofa bed and was set up for our girls - aged 9 and 6. It was a great set-up. Meant we could stay up on our side when they went to sleep etc. Nice for breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Reasonable price, given it is London

Booked a city view room (#3710) for a birthday stopover. From the minute we arrived, the experience was exeptional. Staff were courtious and polite, without being overbearing and made us feel truly welcome.
The room and view was a revelation. On entering the room, the electronic blinds that covered the thirty odd feet expanse of floor to ceiling windows slowly rose up like something out of a Bond film, revealing all I can say is the best view of London I've ever seen, bar none. Speecheless. To say the room is well equipped is a major understatement; they even provide binoculars and a guide to the sights directly below, such as The Tower of London, St.Paul's Cathedral, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge etc. etc. A roll-top bath and rainforest shower even overlook the latter views - amazing!... We made use of the SkyPool on level 52 (included) which had a small lounge area for (free) coffee and iced lemon/lime water while you take in the view. Stunning. Had a few drinks/nibbles in GONG cocktail bar on level 52 in the evening and watched the world go by as London sparkled and twinkled far below. Aquashard restaurant was another highlight, where I think I had the best dessert ever. Breakfast the next morning was equally good, and left us feeling very pampered. Expensive? Rightfully so! Worth it?.. Oh Yep :-}

Brilliant location for our 3 attractions, and only a 20 minute walk along the river. Hotel exceeded our expectations, and the family suite was perfectly set out, and had everything that was needed. Breakfast was superb, and staff attentive, but not in your face. Views from the restaurant are stunning. Would highly recommend, and will definitely return.

The hotel offers pretty basic accommodation and not much else. The location is the real advantage - within walking distance of the city and tourist sites but on the edge of more residential areas and in an interesting neighbourhood. Probably more suitable for younger people and couples rather than families.
