“No pool and breakfast was very limited - just yogurt and prepackaged muffins, nutrigrain bars and coffee. Booked here because of mini kitchen. Was annoying that you had to specifically request all kitchen supplies - dish towel, dishes, silverware, pans, and even a coffee maker! Had to wait two days for a frying pan which meant I couldn’t cook some of the food I had brought with me. Place was clean and stay was okay otherwise. Staff was friendly and helpful.”
“Most stays we have had at Holiday Inn Express have been great and actually Very little complaints. rooms always clean, great breakfast, pool etc. However, the Lake Placid Holiday Inn Express was FANTASTIC from Paula at the desk when we arrived right to the room staff. Room, (Tub) (very important) was spotless. I asked the evening desk clerk if he knew when the local ice cream parlor closed. Instead of no or some vague answer he said "Hold on, I'll look that right up for you". That goes a long……
“The breakfast was amazing!! The water pressure in the bathroom was a tiny stream. The pool was in a desperate need of a cleaning because of all the algae buildup on all sides. No phone connected in room with made it difficult to contact the front desk for room needs. Our room smelled like curry ALL the time. The hot tub jets were non-functioning.”
