"Affordable and comfortable hostel"
K's House Tokyo Oasis is a very nice hostel to stay in. The room that we took was the twin ensuit room and it gives us enough space for our luggage and a small sitting area. The staff there is really helpful and friendly. Definitely will stay here again if I ever come back to Tokyo.

"Great ryokan in the middle of it all"
A great experience with the kids to experience a ryokan-style room. The convenience of a number of restaurants, shops and sights make this a great place to be booked at. It was also good they had free wifi and vending machines just in case anyone got hungry. Having said that with a 24hour bento box store and sushi restaurant around the corner, you won't really need much in terms of food. My only gripe is the fact they never clean your room, even once in our 7 day stay.

"Excellent Customer Service"
Stayed 4 nights in July 2015. The staff organised my baggage to another hotel smoothly. The traditional bath was ready when we arrived back late at night. The Inn has a welcoming warmth and friendliness. Only the male staff speak proficient English so it is best to seek them out if you need assistance.

"Budget lodging"
We had a private room for my family. It was clean and OK in appearance, however the mattresses were to thin and therefore hard to sleep on. Also, no control on the use of the living room use after 11 pm ( if lights are on, it gets into the room, so you need to go out and ask the people in the living room to turn them off and in one occasion we had to ask them to keep their voices down. The rooms besides the main entrance have a stair entrance with an old carpet in bad shape (it has spots and give the impression of being dirty) and not good to carry luggage upstairs. The bathrooms are very clean and well maintained and organized, which is a very good thing, since cleanliness for us is a key point. The hotel does not provide essentials like soap or towels (these are extra) and this is not disclosed in the booking site.

"Great staff"
The staff doesn't speak too much English, but enough to get by. I did not understand how to get a taxi or where, so the staff graciously led me to a good location for taxis, got me one, and told the driver where to go, and waved good bye. He was actually on break. It meant a lot to me that he was so kind. 5 stars!

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Asakusa 2 stars Hotels

Today visited for its Sensoji Temple, Five Storied Pagoda, and the Nakamise traditional shopping arcade, this festive neighborhood once was the city’s hot spot for drinking and dancing. Though it never experienced the development that Ginza and others have, it holds its own with an artistic community and some of the city’s top attractions.
