I highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Marrakech to book with this hotel. The hotel is perfect and our stay was flawless from start to finish. The decor of the hotel is quite unique and strikes a perfect balance between Moroccan design but whilst allowing Westerners to feel comfortable and very much at home. All the staff from the reception to the bar, from the maids to the restaurant were extremely polite and attentive to our needs throughout.
The location of the hotel couldn't be better. It's about a 15-20 minute walk down a straight road (you can't get lost) to the main square and market where all the action is. Yes, there are many hotels closer to this main square but with the culture shock that is Jemaa el Fna, you will be so happy that you did choose a hotel that is a little bit away from the very busy centre and you have your relaxing hotel only 3 minutes away by taxi.
The food at the hotel restaurant is also fantastic. The lamb Tajine with apricots, prunes and almonds is one of the nicest meals I've ever had. The bar also has a 60 inch TV on the wall with all the football you could want on it if you were wanting to catch a match with a nice cold (alcoholic) beer. (You'll struggle to find any alcohol at all in the centre but at this hotel you have plenty of options).
Overall - 5 stars ***** Highly recommended. If I ever go to Marrakesh again then I'll most certainly be staying in this hotel.

What we liked about the hotel was that the location was great. The only disappointing part was the breakfast. There wasn't much of a variety. Overall, our stay was pleasing and we would recommend the hotel.

I stayed at the Palace with my family for a few days and couldn't be happier. From the staff to the facilities everything was pretty amazing. The pools were clean and well maintained. The rooms gorgeous and well appointed. We found food at the restaurants very good with a decent selection. The room service menu leaves a little to be desired but if your not feeling up to venturing out to take in the local cuisine it'll suffice. Over all a very lovely hotel and we will love to stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived at Savoy Le Grande late in the evening and had a quick and easy check-in. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming and quickly showed us to our room. Unfortunately, the room allocated was a ground floor room, so I requested a room swap to one which was on one of the upper levels. After spending the night in the room allocated, the following day, not only did we get moved to a room higher up, we were upgraded to a suite! The suite was one of the best I have ever stayed in, clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need.
The Metropole restaurant within the hotel had one of the widest selections of hot and cold breakfast on offer, with the food of the highest quality. The restaurant staff were all very friendly and always on hand to help.
There is only one hotel I will book when returning to Marrakech and look forward to receiving the same level of service and quality at Savoy when I return to Marrakech!

Near central Marrakech, the Hivernage section of the city is the site where many luxury villas were built during the French protectorate. Also in the area are the Menara Gardens, surrounding a large man-made lake and popular with both locals and visitors. The gardens feature several orchards of palm, olive, and fruit trees and offer an oasis from Morocco's desert heat.
