This hotel is a lovely friendly place to stay with or without your dog.
Some hotels will allow you to bring your dog and some will even claim to be dog friendly but you still get the impression they are only tolerating your dog. However this place absolutely love you bringing your well behaved dog! The staff made more fuss of my Border Terrier (Betty) than they did with us and rightly so because i enjoyed being in a place where i knew she was welcome.
They even have a photo album of all the previous dogs who've stayed there.
A few days after we left they sent us the pics they took of Betty which was a lovely touch.
A special mention to the lovely Carol, surely the hardest working person I've met but always had time for a chat with that lovely French/Yorkshire hybrid accent she has. Carol even made sure Betty had an egg & a Sausage for her Breakfast, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.
We are unlikely to be back in Huddersfield but if we were we'd stay there with or without our dog!
