"It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful but the accomodation was rather basic. The room was small and cell-like with no a/c or tv and the only window was to the hallway but it suit my purpose at the time - to have a clean cheap place to stay in an otherwise expensive city. I would have stayed longer but I'm old and the hotel is on the second floor so climbing stairs every day finally got to me."

"Check in was flawless even though it was a last minute booking. (Within 8 hours of arrival) Older hotel very well maintained. There is no elevator even though the building is 4 stories. Only negative hot water was just available in the early morning hours. Staff was very accommodating. They allowed me to check in far ahead of the 3pm posted time. The adjoining restaurant had very good food, which was extremely economical. Location was good close to the central city. "

"Close to pretty much everything , the only down side is having to ring the doorbell and wait for the front desk to open the door. The area is not bad but the wait outside is the one thing I didn’t like . Everything else is ok. Sometimes it’s noisy overall very convenient to get to many parts of the city by Uber. "

"Good service at reception. Room is very old and could use a coat of paint. Bed comfort was not so great as beds were old and worn too. No AC and I had to ask for a fan which they provided right away. Interior garden and sitting area is nice. The price was excellent. Location is about 6 blocks to National Palace and Cathedral. Ok place for budget travelers."
