The ancient building has been tastefully converted and offers compact rooms on several floors communicated by a spiral stone staircase. The location is very suggestive on the main street of a Medieval 'borgo' which ends seamlessly in the remians of the old Roman road that traverses an impressive archway - particularly evocative and well-lit at nightfall. The river runs nearby cutting the valley and the rock outcrops and terraced vineyards climb on either side. It is well-connected yet feels like a fold in time. The castles and fortresses of the Val d'Aosta (are nearby as is the Roman bridge at Pont Saint Martin.
