"Nice room, polite staff, odd noise"
Check in was a breeze, the desk staff was polite, the room was clean and nice. Only two comments: We were in 207 and there's a weird mechanical hum that's persistent. I'm not sure if we were over the hotel boiler, or if it was the elevator motors, or what. It wasn't bad enough that I bothered switching rooms, but I did notice it. The other thing, and this isn't a ding against the hotel, just a warning for others: If you need to go to Foxwoods (rather than Mohegan Sun), the shuttle doesn't go there. We found out the hard way, and I think it might have been my fault when I asked simply about "the casino shuttle" as opposed to "Does this go to Foxwoods?" The driver mentioned that none of the hotels go to Foxwoods, so I don't think it was the hotel's fault, but still, it was unexpected. Otherwise, I'd go back, it was nice and easy to get to.

Pocket Guide: Mystic Norwich 2 stars Hotels

The harbor sits at the convergence of the Thames, Shetucket, and Yanic rivers in the downtown Chelsea district. In the summer 120 rose varieties are in bloom at the Norwich Rose Garden and the Connecticut Defenders play baseball at Dodd Stadium. The Leffingwell House Museum and other colonial-era homes are preserved in Norwichtown, the city’s oldest district, which is also home to the Mohegan Park.
