“We booked this hotel for two nights but ended up leaving after the first night because we did not feel comfortable staying. Unfortunately, we were not offered a refund for the unused night. The hotel is very outdated and in need of major updates. Our hallway smelled strongly of marijuana the entire time we were there. When we entered our room, we found someone else's underwear and a single earbud left behind, which made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. The window was……

“The paint on the ceiling of the bathroom was peeling off. The breakfast was good. The pantry needs more snack items.”

“We really enjoyed our stay! The room was very spacious, clean and accommodating; and being able to have lake views was amazing! If it were more private it would be perfect! It’s next to a shopping center which can be convenient, but takes away from the ambiance. What really detracts from this beautiful place is the train! There is a freight train that is right across from the hotel and it goes by at least 6-8 times during the day, night and wee hours of the morning! Which is not great when……

“We arrived and there was no one at the desk. After a few minutes and using the lobby phone someone finally showed up. When we got to the room there was a dirty rag on the floor, no toilet paper in the bathroom and the bath mat was dirty. There was hair in the tub. The bed was decent and honestly for the price, we got what we paid for, but never in my life has there never been toilet paper in a hotel room.”
