"Homey and roomy and had a lot of extras"
Management was relaxed and flexible. the room managed to feel homey rather than sterile and was very comfortable with great beds, good shower with room heater, spickety spandy clean, and right across the street from a Duncan Donuts and a grocery store. It was right on route 3A but set back from the road enough that it was quiet. Altogether a nice experience.

"It was okay"
Staff friendly, nice looking and clean hotel on the surface, but on closer look could use a little tlc. The room overall appeared clean and tidy, but the remote, telephone and clock radio had not been wiped down any time in recent history...and the clock was wrong (pet peeve of mine after having overslept for an important meeting once). The furniture is showing age with stains, scratches, nicks and damage. The hallway carpet was very nice, but needed to be vacuumed. Pool area also nice on surface, but after sitting in hot tub I noticed a ring of scum all the way around the top right about my neck area which was pretty gross (i grabbed a towel and wiped it off). Overall nice, but needs a deeper clean and some upgrades.

"VERY NICE, QUIET HOTEL WITH FRIENDLY STAFF. "
We stayed here for 3 nights in early November. We had a 2 bedded room on the upper floor (there are only 2 floors). The room was big enough, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is really more like a Motel as there were separate buildings of varying distance from the main building which had the reception, the breakfast room and conference facilities. We had an upper floor room with no neighbours above as this is an 'old style' building whereby you could probably hear the people walking around in the room above if you were on the ground floor. There was a walk-by landing outside our door with a wider area containing rocking chairs. Quite a nice touch apart from there were ash trays by the chairs which seem to imply that you could smoke in this area. I would have been annoyed if someone had sat in the chairs smoking and having loud conversations late into the evening if I was trying to get some sleep in my room. I think the whole property should be non-smoking, apart from maybe a designated place, and the chairs, although nice, removed to an area away from the rooms where any conversations by the people in the chairs would not disturb the people in the rooms. The breakfast was good and the lady looking after the breakfast room was very nice. The wi-fi was not good in our room. The computer in the reception area was good and had a printer. An able-bodied person could walk to the ocean from here and also into the town. Overall a very good experience, I would stay again.

"Great location and very friendly staff"
It's hard to find a reasonably priced place to stay on the South Shore that is also decent, so I thought I'd try this out for one night. It's a great location, the staff were wonderful, and I would definitely come back. The room suited my needs and the bathroom was upgraded so it was a pleasant place to stay and walking distance to downtown Plymouth.
