“The best thing I can say about this place is that the staff memberqho greeted me was friendly, and the bed was comfortable. That said, I was very tired after a very full day, so I probably could have fallen asleep on concrete.
The room was grimy and shabby. It didn't look like it had been cleaned particularly well. Surfaces were wiped, but I don't think the carpet had been hoovered.
I won't be staying there again.”

“Don’t book here unless you are happy with broken furniture, stained carpets with burn marks, curtains hanging off a single hook and not covering windows. A bathroom window in the shower/bath facing the street without frosting or efficient covering. Old bed, full of lumps and ridges, only fit for the rubbish tip, stale cigarette smoke wafting through passages and random pieces of furniture and hoover in the passages. Staff catnapping in “waiting area””

“If I could give it zero stars I would. An absolute shambles of a place. Do not bother staying here.
We are disabled and were put on the 5th floor with no access to a lift. None of bedrooms advertised online was not what we stayed in. The windows were moldy, broken, held together by tape, gap at the bottom so constant draft coming through. No soap provided in the bathroom, no mat in the shower my husband nearly slipped. No one to speak to on the front desk as everything is done via WhatsApp....

“As i turned up at the property i was put off instantly as it looked run down, there was no one at the reception i called the hotel no a few times but it just rang and then cut off.
The room was basic it had a kettle no cups or anything to make a drink with not even a sink to get anw water.
The mattress was thin as you turned over in bed the springs cruched as you turn.
The shared bathroom was so small a large person (not being disrespectful to anyone) would find it hard to use the toilet,...

“I was supposed to get book in details by WhatsApp before 3pm Friday they didn't come. Eventually someone appeared at 3.15 in the lobby if you could call it that. A window in the inside front door had been broken and was never replaced. Got to the room it was supposed to be a double. Fair enough it had double bed and just enough room to walk around it. The bathroom stunk on stale water. Would I stay here again? NO

“No hay wifi en la habitacion. El desayuno es muy justo en oferta. Se oyen todos los ruidos por la noche, imposible dormir. El ascensor da miedo y si subes las escaleras hasta el cuarto has de subir de lado y bajando la cabeza! La ducha imposible de regular. La television con pocos canales.”

“I was greeted by staff in the pub in the evening with a warm friendly welcome.
The rooms are in a separate annex so no noise can be heard from the pub. You are given a door code on arrival.
The room was clean as was the bedding and towels.
Quite a spacious double room with desk chair and armchair.
The bathroom was clean The shower pressure wasn’t particularly strong but it was ample. Shampoo and shower gel were provided

“Fantastic stay at Central Wave Brighton. The location is great, really central and easy to get everywhere on foot.
The room was clean and comfortable, and nicely done considering it’s an older building. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well.
Check-in was easy and everything ran smoothly. Communication was good, and it was nice to have someone at reception if needed.
Overall, great value for money and a really pleasant stay. We’d happily come back.”
