Stayed there one night, at A corner room on the 3rd floor. An old style, very comfortable hotel, comfortable room, large bath, Large indoor swimming pool, nice gym, too small dry Sauna. 400 meters walk from the center. excellent free parking facility, and free Wi Fi. Nice breakfast, but variety and quality of food in the restaurant could be improved.

We stayed for 2 days in mid-September. The best thing about the hotel was the thermal baths that are actually very large indoor and outdoor swimming pools fed by the local hot springs. This maintains the water temperature in the 34-38 degree (C) range which is extremely relaxing. The pools are well maintained and not crowded. Overall the hotel has a feeling of faded glory. It was clearly splendid at some point in the past - but everything feels a little worn out now - from the bath mats to the dining rooms. It was the only 4 star hotel we have stayed in where there was a water heater/kettle - but no coffee or tea supplies. The fixed menu dinner in the restaurant was very medium quality and the only time we ever felt rushed eating while in Italy. The hotel is a comfortable 30 minute drive from the old town in Padua - which we thought was perfect. There were several great local Restaurants (Mary's Pizza and Trattoria di Nicola) within walking distance. Not sure who awarded the advertised 4 stars - but it is definitely not within the usual quality that 4 stars would denote.

Nice hotel only steps from the train station, yet surprisingly quiet when sleeping at night. The check in staff and restaurant personnel were kind and service-oriented. I really felt they cared about me enjoying my stay. I enjoyed my dinner and the waitress helped me make my selection. I went to the hotel for the thermal pools. They were nice but crowded on a Sunday. Lots of families. It was difficult finding a free lounge chair, but I did find one. The staff at the entrance to the pools are polite when you ask a question, but they don't elaborate. They don't tell you everything you need to know about the pools, like where the showers are or that you must wear a swim cap or that they even sell them! Oh, and you need flip flops. Other than that, I do recommend this hotel. It's clean, has good amenities, nice staff and my single room even had a balcony.!

We stayed here to be near our children on a concert tour. It proved a good base to visit Venice, Verona, Padua and Lake Garda by car. The staff were very attentive and helpful, with the exception of trying to check out, at which point there were about 6 staff who kept passing us on to someone else. The evening meal we had on the first night was very good, with a set price menu of 4 courses. There were also breads, salads and fruits as a buffet, all of which were fresh. There is a pleasant pedestrianised area with lots of high end shops and some eating places. The hotel was generally clean except for our room on one night of four. The breakfast was a decent continental affair, though would have been better with more cooked items. There are numerous pools and lots of spa facilities, but we did not have a chance to try these. The pools did look very enticing, however, and were set in pleasant gardens.

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights. It is little bit ran down inside and doesn't feel like a four star hotel. However it has a great private hot springs pool as part of the hotel and the staff is just wonderful. I enjoyed my time here and spent few hours in the Sulfer-rich hot springs pool. The hotel is only about 15 miles from the city of Padua but it takes more than half an hour to drive there because of the traffic. I took the public bus and it took 55 minutes each way during the rush hour. My room was half-board so included one free meal everyday in addition to the breakfast. The food was very good and plenty so I definitely recommend choosing the half-board accommodation-it is well worth the extra few euros..
