“Beautifully renovated historic building with beautiful garden and a top-notch restaurant. The new lift is especially good, saving us the effort to wrestle luggages up the steep stairs typically of older Dutch buildings. Quiet surroundings at the historic city center. Very nice and helpful staff. Oh, and the breakfast is well worth the money. Everything is tasty.”

“Schone kamer, leuke locatie midden in Harlingen. Kamer met buitenplaats op plat dak. Lekker stil gedurende de nacht. Voor herhaling vatbaar.”

“I stayed in Hotel stad en Land with my husband and 2 kids. We had a connected room with a double bed and 2 single beds at the uppermost floor. Staff are nice and the room condition is a lot better than I expected for such a historic building. It is opposite to the train station. Cheese market and car parks are within 10 minutes walk. No elevator may be a little drawback.”

“if you go outside the room the view is really nice. unfortunately, they lock the window of my room, the temperature of the room becomes very high. I try to tell myself, it is a prison, don't ask for more. I am living right below the restaurant, it is very noisy at night. In general if you do not stay to long, 1-2 days, it should be a good experience.”

“Sauberkeit könnte verbessert werden. Fliegengitter an den Badezimmerfenstern wäre super. Lage ist ruhig. Was wir als angenehm emfunden haben. Im Restaurant hat man vor 21 Uhr nichts mehr zu essen bekommen, obwohl dies bis 22 Uhr geöffnet hatte. Dies sollte irgendwo ersichtlich sein.”
