"Very nice hotel close to the subway"
I stayed here almost a week and the room was very comfortable for its size. I would suggest getting a 3 day subway pass and just run around and see the sights this way.

"Nice central Tokyo hotel"
Nice modern hotel. Compact room with gals partition to bath, but worked well. Only real problem is it it up hill a couple + blocks from Akasaka station, which with bags was a drag. Station like many in Tokyo has no escalator we found. Supposed to be an elevator for hill, but we did not find it. Staff helpful, but directions and map given were difficult to sort out. Breakfast nice, typical mix western and Japanese.

"NICE hotel, everything are close"
Location is excellent to go to any place. Room is not large, but clean. Only elevator was little bit slow.

"Nice"
Clean hotel room as well as public area. However, the toilet smelled a bit, I don't know what that smell was. It was located in a quiet place with sufficient restaurants and convenience store nearby. Close to the Tokyo Metro station.

"Great location in busy Akasaka."
Hotel is well connected to train lines. 24h free coffee and drinks. The best feature is the very nice public bath on the second floor (sorry ladies, men only) which is free for hotel guests.

"Great location, good breakfast, room way too small"
Very small room and mini bathroom, despite the bed was decently comfortable. If you're taller than 185 cm (6'1") it will be a struggle to use the bathroom. The location is the best. Middle of Roppongi, walking distance to two metro stations and plenty of taxis around. Very informative staff with English above average for Japan.

"We had a nice view"
Lovely japanese room, but the smell of the bamboo was hard to get used to,it's my personal opinion. Its a big hotel but staff didn't show our room directly like at the other hotels (3 of them ) we stayed at.

"Very comfortable hotel, great for families."
We found the staff extremely polite and very accommodating. The restaurants we went to were fabulous. The pool was small but very nice, and my 6-year-old son and I had a fun time. The gardens are spectacular. Skip the Capri bar. The only problem we had was that our air con in our room wouldn't get the room cold enough, and for at least two nights we couldn't sleep well. After we complained about it, it only took 20 minutes before they came to the room to change a filter. They brought us a fan and also offered a new room. The fan worked well and we decided to keep the room.

"Fine business hotel."
I stayed here for more than a week. It's a clean, well-run business hotel in a good location. As long as you are not expecting anything fancier or bigger than a normal Japanese business hotel, you will be very happy with this place.

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Akasaka 3 stars Hotels

Posh hotels and a good selection of mid-range restaurants can be found in this area bordering Ginza’s northwest side. Sights in themselves, hotels include the New Otani complex, featuring a garden that was once owned by a Tokugawa regent, and ANA Hotel Tokyo, which has skyline views rivaling those of Tokyo Tower.
