“The rooms are clean and comfy, the lobby is gorgeous, the coffee shop is legit. Nightly smores around the fire pit, right on the lake, can walk to the water park of inflatable slides on the lake.”

“The property was large with various accommodations from small cabins, family size cabins and a couple of mult-room motel type buildings. We stayed in one of the motel buildings. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. There are many hiking, fishing, rafting and siteseeing options near by plus an on site swimming pool. The property originally the construction center for Fontana Dam in the early 1940s. I have enjoyed rafting on the Nantahala, riding the Tail of the Dragon on motorcycle and by car.……

“Nantahala Village is, first and foremost, situated in a beautiful mountain location, looking out across a valley to other mountains in the distance. It is very close to Nantahala Outdoor Center and close to Bryson City, as well, so it makes a great base camp for excursions to either destination. The lodge has a very nice swimming pool that is clean and properly maintained. The lodge itself has been renovated and is very well done; the detail work in the decor is impressive. We loved the……

“Dinner was excellent with great service. Breakfast was ok. Picnic lunches were good. Place needs a deep cleaning. King room bed was comfortable but the floor carpet was super dirty. Guests walking upstairs generates lots of squeaking. Summer room was dirty with very old sofas. We felt walking around chairs were dusty and the property should be in better condition given the prices.”

“The staff was professional, helpful and made us feel very welcome. I had a concern about booking a pet friendly room and Jamie made me feel very comfortable with this room selection since rooms were limited when I booked. They were also helpful in providing restaurant recoomendations. The breakfast was lovely. Very flavorful. Overall we enjoyed our stay here very much and would highly recommend this Inn.”
