"Not 5 star, but perfectly adequate"
Had an overnight stay in this hotel, and was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting too much from it as it is at the 'budget' end of the scale (well, as far as London hotels go anyway), but the staff seemed efficient, the room was small, but clean and tidy, breakfast was good. Other than breakfast we didn't try out any of the four restaurants, so can't comment on the food, but we did get a drink in the bar, which was comfortable and cheery. Location is perfect, being less than five minute walk from Tottenham Court Road tube station. Certainly great for a short stay.

Pocket Guide: London Bloomsbury 3 stars Business Hotels

The fashionable residential district of Bloomsbury in central London, dotted with hushed Georgian garden squares, has drawn famous writers and philosophers through the centuries. Virginia Woolf and the Bloomsbury Set redefined the 20th-century novel here, and being the seat of the British Library and the British Museum, it was also where Charles Darwin formulated his historic theory of evolution.
