“I Loved this Guesthouse! They treated me like family. I arrived early and they let me store my bags and relax in the beautiful and comfortable common area. While relaxing for just 10 minutes on the very scenic veranda, overlooking the town and ocean, a lovely woman, I think her name was Katrina, said she has a room already ready for me. I loved the room and the entire facility. Very quiet and comfortable. They even have a bar for the guests. The staff was very friendly and kind. Breakfast……

“We arrived walking off the West Highland Way: soaked to the bone and exhausted. There was a big loud tour bus offloading at the same time, and the young woman at the front desk was so considerate and gracious — without asking, she guided us off to the side and checked us in ahead of the group. Room immaculate. Staff excellent. Really beautifully curated art in the rooms and hallways. Excellent value.”

“Following its recent refurbishment, The Tarbet Hotel blends historic elegance with modern comfort in a stunning location, great for hillwalkers and couples. My only critique is that the dinner service was a bit slow and the menu felt like poor value for money, but we enjoyed the fish pie and chicken schnitzel. Breakfast was exceptional!”
