“The property was clean throughout and some decorating had been done. Areas had been carpeted and they were getting ready for the start of the season. Staff were helpful and polite and dealt with anything we enquired about. There was a lovely sea view right across from the front of the Majestic. “ I have a few comments regarding our stay. I wasn’t expecting a five star but in some ways a 3 star was a little overrated. We were greeted by the most loveliest helpful receptionist. He was 5*. It went downhill from there I’m afraid. The room was ‘ok’ but we got what we paid for. When returning from night out the night receptionist was 1* at best. He cod barely converse. “We had a clean room, and unobstructed view of the sea, the room had no housekeeping daily, the first and last day we had a buffet breakfast, the second day it would appear that we had to order either with the cook or reception but we were not told of this, the third day the chef took our breakfast order.”

“Had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. The staff were really friendly and Neil was super helpful carrying my heavy suitcase up the stairs and then down again on departure. The room was cozy and had all the amenities: flat screen tv, kettle and a radio.
