Visited Brussels with two kids age 11 and 15. Honestly--we are not used to traveling overseas (do quite a bit of traveling in the USA) and we do not usually stay in a bed and breakfast.
This place, however, was far beyond our expectations. Hosts Pieter and Caroline were terrific--made us feel so comfortable, gave us extensive tips to touring the city (they were so much better than any guidebook) and treated us like family. They clearly cared about our well being and happiness.
Breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended.
The physical space is also impressive--they have a keen eye for design and detail--superior to most if not all the 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Very clean space with all amenities. Note below I say they don't have a bar --but in reality Pieter keeps some amazing beers in a pay-as-you-go fridge in the main area.
If I could give them 6 stars, I would. They deserve it.
Would stay here again in a minute. In fact, before we came I thought this would be our only trip to Brussels in my lifetime. When we left, I found myself designing our next trip to Europe with this place on the itinerary. It is that good.
