“Hotel is in a great location - just over 15 minute walk to the train station, close to shops and the Cathedral - looks like the downstairs has been elegantly renovated. Beautiful newly-refurbished bedroom, with some really thoughtful extra touches - such as a rubber bathmat and handrail, electric fan, suitcase stand, and biscuits every day with the tea and coffee. I liked being able to open the window.

“I defy anyone to find a nicer or friendlier place to stay; it bucks the trend of corporate anonymity by offering excellent food and wine, attentive staff, great service all with a homely feel and at great value. Oh1 and a few excellent real ales!!”
