I chose this hotel because I wanted to be close to the Shinagawa Shinkansen station to catch an early morning train. I knew the standard single room would be really small, so I booked a double room, which was still quite snug, FYI.
Centrally located, 10min walk from Shinjuku station, many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The single room is clean but tiny, and may be too small for big westerners. I could also hear voices from the room next door. The room temperature cannot be changed, and the window cannot be opened. ...
Friendly and professional staff. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Prime deluxe location within walking distance of many entertainment / dining / shopping venues. Also a main business area near several major Tokyo Metro lines. I visited the Monterey Akasaka a few times; always a great stay!
Close to Shinjuku station and to a lot of tour pick ups A lot of good choices for breakfast within hotel Clean efficient and very friendly staff Limousine Bus Shuttle from Narita and Haneda stops and pick up at this hotel
The room was perfectly adequate for a short stay business trip. I did not spend much time in the room but it's fine. The room was small but had all the amenities. It was very quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It's a busy hotel but the staff are friendly, check-in and check-out are ...
Great location. This hotel is close to transport if you need to get around Tokyo and a short stroll to the main area in Shinjuku. The rooms were very clean and a good size. It's able to accomodate 2 people without issues.

There is a Starbucks a block away, and a lot of great shopping and dining options very close by. The area is very safe and clean no matter what time of day it is. The staff speak some ...
Clean. Loaner phone is great. Having a convenient store next door is just soooo... convenient! Would love a bit more closet space though.
