“When we were there, a big storm blew through. We lost power for about three hours in the evening. Thankfully, it was still light out so we could see in our room through the windows, which did leak and we had to use towels from the bathroom to clean up. We were able to get extra towels. Our TV did not work until mid-day the next day. One thing that was weird is that we were not given any body wash or a second piece of soap; we only had one piece of soap to use at the sink and in the shower. I was……

“Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area.”
