“The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The staff were super helpful and friendly. It's within walking distance of tons of shopping and dining. The hotel bar looks out over the lake and is tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. The fitness center has a universal machine, free weights, treadmill and more, that was an added bonus for us. We would definitely stay here again!”

“My sister & I went to Mt. Dora for a girls trip and after looking at several decent B&Bs that were fully booked, the Lakeside Inn came up as available.
I love old hotels & houses so it was right up my alley. The price was very good for a two queen (or double) room.
The room was spacious, which was nice, but there were several issues that were unacceptable to me, even at a decent price.
I know it’s an old hotel, but they really need to update the rooms. There needs to be more outlets and……
