Flight to Nice, pick up hire car and then off down the A8 to Les Issambres. A car is essential at this hotel (which we had gathered from reading previous reviews). The drive up the winding road to the hotel is daunting at first but well worth the view, that is if you have a sea view. We paid an extra 50 euros for a spectacular view over the bay of St Tropez. The accommodation was adequate althougth the sofa bed uncomfortable. The facilities available were good, great pool with snack hut. Kids playgound, two table tennis tables and an area for boules. Could maybe do with a little more in terms of activities and because of the remoteness would benefit from a bar and resturant and maybe some evening entertainment. Wifi available at a cost 16E for a week, but limited to near reception which was frustrating. The drive to St Tropez was a drag as very busy on the road, but the boat service from Les Issambres is worth it.
