"Great Getaway"
My wife and I will occasionally get out of town for a nice "getaway weekend". This is a place we have visited many times. Having the hot springs to soak in has always been a nice place to relax at the end of a day. In the summer, they have a great golf course. Simon's and Fanny's are both nice restaurants with very reasonable pricing. The rooms are nice and well kept, but most all the rooms we've stayed in are not in "like new" condition. The room we were in this time had a bathroom that was very small - there was no way for the two of us to get ready at the same time.

"Well-appointed resort 10 miles outside Park City."
After a difficult check-in, we were pleased with the room. One problem was a chirping smoke alarm in the adjoining room, but, since it was a privately-owned rental, the hotel staff "could not fix it". Otherwise the staff was friendly and the grounds were lovely.

Pocket Guide: Park City Midway 3 stars Hotels

The discovery of natural hot springs, or “hot pots,” near Midway in the 1880s led to the development of the area’s first resort, which is still in operation today. Every Labor Day weekend, the town celebrates Swiss Days with a parade, food, craft booths, and more. Two miles away, the 22,000-acre Wasatch Mountain State Park provides visitors with year-round outdoor activities.
