"Summerwinds (the property) is great and I plan to return. The mattresses are soft, I hope the owners upgrade them. Slept on the king and tested the lower bunk out of curiosity. Removed one star on comfort only for this fact. The jack n Jill style bathroom is smart (2 toilets, 2 sinks and 1 shower), along with the added convenience of the stackable washer / dryer. "The room was very clean and more than suited my needs for my brief stay. It was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and professional. I especially appreciated that the parking and surrounding areas were well-lit, as I was traveling with a dog that needed to be walked at night. I felt safe even late. The are was quiet and well-situated, being just a short distance from the entrance to the island itself. I'm sure this may probably change during the summer but it was manageable during the off season. "
