The place was a bit dated in terms of furniture and decor, but that was the only complaint. The service was fine and the price was right. It was very near the subway, a few blocks from times Square, Central Park, and 5th Ave. The hotel was clean and we were able to check in early.
It is an old hotel, many tourists, long line waiting. But the price is cheap for the location. Very close to subways station, and near the empire state building. Lots of restaurants and stores near by. The only problem is check in line is too long. I wait for almost 30 mins.
Hotel was lovely but had a horrible experience trying to locate it. It took me 3 hours.
The Hotel was nice and the staff was very accommodating. We were going on a cruise the next day and caught the shuttle to the pier. Parking was $10 v $20/day at the pier.
Great New York location, easy to access Grand Central, walkable to Theatre, room is as expected teeny but wonderfully designed with all that is needed. Not for a month, or maybe even a week but GREAT for 1 to 2 days! MCC
The room is clean and comfortable. They have a tiny shop in the lobby that you can find everything you need/want in the shop, and a restaurant as well. Friendly staff and willing to help if we have any question.
My Mother and girlfriend all chose this place for it's location only a week ago for vacation. Given you never know what to expect given the prices as locations such as these, I know that I am not the first to say that this hotel is worth every penny. At least, for me personally. A clean, quiet room. ...
