"Beautiful setting along the Loch Mess. "
The hotel standards were above average and the staff were professional and helpful. The rooms were of adequate size and kept perfectly clean. I would definitely return. Great value for the dollar (pound).

"Nice hotel"
Made very welcome on arrival, hotel very nice needs a bit of updating, very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay a very pleasant one nice log fire and comfortable couches to relax in after a stroll. St August a 10/15 stroll though no pavements so need to be aware of the traffic. A nice breakfast to set us up for the day ahead. Had a very nice meal in the restaurant all in all a very pleasant stay..

"Escape to the country "
Great hotel with beautiful scenery, my fiancée and I booked night in a loch view room, we weren't disappointed with the view, hotel was just what we were looking for, very secluded and romantic, staff couldn't have been any friendlier and helpful, already planning our next trip:).

"Good Enough for a night's sleep."
Rooms were okay, bathroom was extremely small, and the sink in the room was plugged up. A little pricey for the accommodations. Building was cute and the area so so. Parking was not convenient either, I had to park 2 streets up and drag all the luggage.

"Highly Recommended!!!"
This place looks a little bland on the outside, but is really great on the inside. cosy, clean and comfy. I think the food was superb, although chef did give me a steak medium/ well rather than Medium rare, quickly rectified. I must give a shout out to Julia Webb, she was absolutely superb, so nice, so accommodating, and even with our slightly odd (OCD) requests was happy to look after us. The bathroom, although beautifully done, did lack power in the shower department (room 115) I did notify reception. There was also a (I'm sure unavoidable) blinking light on the smoke detector, which kept me up a few hours :/ Due to the lack of power in the shower we took a little longer than expected to get ready, so were late for breakfast, I really wished Julia was around again for breakfast service, the lady on was short, disinterested and really didn't give us the service we had expected. the salmon and scrambled eggs were pretty good though - shame that I couldn't request a slice of toast, or some fresh pepper to go with it as she had GONE. I think the breakfast chef needs to crank it up a notch, he didn't know how to do scrambled eggs without dairy (hint, it's the same, just add a little more oil, 2 table spoons of water). I'd highly recommend this place. 100% would go again.

"Nice hotel and spa. Lots of OAP coach tours."
This is a large, clean hotel with great views of the river Ness and Inverness Castle (if you get a room with a view). The spa is lovely and the pool is very warm and luxurious. The rooms are a good size with comfy beds. The main reception area seems to always have lots of OAPs sitting around and occasionally some 'live' music from a man with CD player and a guitar playing songs like 'Oh Danny Boy' as all the elderly guests sing along. Thankfully we could not hear the music, which was quite loud, from our room on the second floor. The corridors smell a little of deep fried food for some reason, but the rooms are absolutely fine. Breakfast was good - there is a choice of cooked breakfast or continental and it was only £5 per person so really reasonable. Again, there was loud, old-fashioned music (think Daniel O'Donnell) being played at breakfast, which was a little strange and not what I wanted to hear at breakfast. Overall I would recommend this hotel to friends and family because it is in a fabulous, very convenient location. The hotel offers a valet parking service to guests, which is very handy. The cost of staying there is very reasonable and it is a very clean hotel. The staff were wery friendly and we had a wonderfully peaceful stay in a large, comfortable room with a nice bed.

"Convenient City Hotel with views of the River"
The hotel staff were very helpful. The 1st room I had was overlooking the city street & knowing this would be very noisy at a weekend I was moved to the back if the hotel. The rooms have all been recently refurbed with a modern style mixed with Classic Scottish images on the wardrobe & in the fantastic bathrooms.
