“We loved staying here! Clean, cozy, and close to great coffee and Thai food. Diane and Damian were very friendly and welcoming. They heated up our room for us on a cold evening. “This house in the trees is absolutely wonderful. The hosts are amazing - warm and welcoming to the max plus very accommodating and lovely to talk to on the phone. Our stay was too short but hopefully there'll be a next time. We will definitely stay here again if we're visiting Sea Ranch or Gualala. I highly recommend The Beacon up in the Redwoods.”

“This is a very nice house in a good location. Most people would probably be happy with it. But it's different than the Sea Ranch houses we have rented at Sea Ranch over the decades. Though well equipped with dishware, there is not single spice (even salt and pepper), no foil or wrap, and a lack of useful items that you may not think of ahead of time. It feels a bit barren, and that was not helped when we asked for a later checkout and got a text back a few minutes later, even though it was late……
