"Quiet Location, Lovely Staff"
We had a lovely stay at the Wingate. The room was clean and comfortable, and all the staff we encountered were cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the hotel had excellent amenities. Wifi worked well and this is the only hotel in the area with a hot tub. Their laundry facility was clean and well maintained. The staff was decorating for Christmas while we were there and everything looked beautiful. Quiet location away from noise and traffic.

"Thanksgiving trip "
I I booked an impromptu trip to meet up with my boyfriend who resides there for work. The staff was very welcoming. There was an indoor heated pool and washing facilities. The room was spacious. Complimentary breakfast was phenomenal!

"perfect"
arriving at 7pm I was offered 2 free bottles of water, instructed that there was an open bar going on and if the restaurant didnt allow me to get something to come back and i could get a voucher. My room was perfect! very comfortable king sized bed, a lovely seating area with a sofa and a table. Mini fridge and microwave. If I had been staying for multiple nights it would have been amazing. When I realized there was no Uber or Lyft available in the area to take me back to the airport the front desk called a taxi service for me. - It would have been nice had they offered an airport shuttle.

"Very nice for a reasonable price. "
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go there again. The only things that kept me from giving this a top rating...was the fact that they provided no cookware or dishes with the kitchenette and you had to pay more for extra towels and wifi.

Pocket Guide: St. Charles Historic District St. Charles 3 stars Hotels

St. Charles sits at one end of the 225-mile Katy Trail State Park bicycling and hiking trail. Founded in 1765, Daniel Boone was an early resident, and Lewis and Clark trained here before heading west on the Missouri River in 1804. Today, the town features a restored historic main street, Missouri’s original capitol building, and well-attended Civil War, Christmas, and music festivals.
