"Simple, clean Island accommodations, perfect location, close to beaches, dining, live music and the ferry. It's true as advertised that no car rental is necessary. The staff is warm, courteous and accommodating and there were no hidden costs. We will be going back next year!"

"Tamarind Inn is a great place for a family on a budget to stay. It’s no frills but safe and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is an afterthought and not substantial. However, they do offer, for the best price in town, the best breakfast for the money in St. John. All the locals will stop by to eat breakfast here. So if you are a family on a budget, this is the place for you! We had a great time with the Tamarind as our base."

"These are truly rustic cabins, but the property is magnificent, with easy access to the beach and hiking trails. Ask for one of the treehouses higher up the hill where the breeze is constant. Be aware that the electricity is out frequently. "

"We absolutely loved staying here. The town of Cruz Bay is very walkable and Wharfside Village puts you right in the middle of so many great dining and shopping options as well as easy access to the taxis that can take you all around the island. No need to rent a car at all if you're coming here to stay. We even took a walk over to the National Park Visitor Center and hiked the Lind Trail from there to go to Honeymoon Beach and Solomon Bay Beach. I don't have the adequate words to describe...

"Wonderful location, great communication, and comfortable clean rooms. The hosts were extremely responsive and had amenities such as beach chairs, towels, and a place where guests can leave things for other guests to use. We had a private patio that has a view of the ocean with crashing sounds of the waves. The villa was a convenient walk to the town and yet secluded. Wonderful stay!"

"We absolutely loved staying here. The town of Cruz Bay is very walkable and Wharfside Village puts you right in the middle of so many great dining and shopping options as well as easy access to the taxis that can take you all around the island. No need to rent a car at all if you're coming here to stay. I don't have the adequate words to describe how much we loved our vacation to St. John and our stay at Wharfside Village, other than to say that I'm going to book another trip there after writing this review!
