“This is an adorable location on the water for a small family. Our only major hiccup was that the hosts provided ZERO communication, both prior and during our stay, and after numerous attempts to reach them. The facility was very smoky when we arrived and the gas stove barely works. Old and used feminine hygiene products were in the bathroom and quite smelly, and there was only one washcloth for our whole family. And there are no hot pads or kitchen towels for taking items out of the stove. Very……

“The residence is nice with great views of the lake and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our one recommendation would be to provide better basic essentials in the kitchen area. A large frying pan or cooking griddle would have been very helpful, and we actually bought and left a few kitchen scratch scrubbers for cleaning pots and pans. ”

“Paula was really good at communicating with me. The dining/living area were comfortable with plenty of space. The kitchen was decent and nicely equipped. Location was good for us. There was an additional small living room that was good for reading and relaxing. A small window air and a fan in one of the bedrooms was not enough to handle heat/humidity while there. “The cottage was perfect for our trip. The bunk bed with a trundle was great for the teens while the adults were comfortable in the other two bedrooms (we didn’t have need for the Murphy bed in the living room, but if we had a larger group, it was another sizable bed! The bed linens and towels were all new and the appliances, too. I always appreciate a place with a washer and dryer, and they provided detergent. The hosts also had extras like snacks and drinks from Michigan in a basket for us and……
