Modern facilities within an historic building. Clean, comfortable rooms - very good value for money. Excellent Sunday morning. Breakfast. Highly recommended.
The room was excellent value when I booked so I wasn't expecting such a good quality hotel. Everything went well, from accessing the car park to getting a room with a bath as requested to enjoying a drink in the sociable lounge.
Paid for 4 poster room as it my birthday. No heating on when arrived at 3pm,+ room phone didn't work.Bathroom nothing plush and no hairdryer. No mini bar or manual to explain how tv,works. The bed squeaked. Breakfast nice saucer and spoon dirty.view stunning and helpful lady receptionist. Terrible ...

The second issue was the very loud sports channel ...

Really lovely spacious room with nice view out onto the farmers market (his and hers wardrobe, desk area, lounge area, fireplace). Bathroom a bit tired but fine, just didn’t match the quality and luxury feel of the rest of the room. Unfortunately was over the pub toilets so had the hand drier noise ...
