"The property could be nice if there was a little more attention to detail. It is convenient to the power boats. My room was unfinished with numerous items either broken or missing. However, my biggest complaint is with the front desk clerk. After the hotel canceled my colleagues confirmed reservation, the desk charged them almost double the Expedia rate for two one bedroom apartments. To add insult to injury, she would not issue them a formal receipt. They were given a handwritten receipt. "

"I did not like this place at all. Reception was 0, the managers were not professional. The room I paid for was not available and I had the room I was offered was horrible . I have stayed at quite a few hotels in Sierra Leone and this one was terrible . Especially the fact it has such a great location . I was unable to get a refund as they came up with some story of some sort. Overall really disappointed waste of money"

"The staff were excellent. Local power was off & on, but the staff was quick to start the generator. Walking from the house begins with a steep uphill climb & there is a market at the top of the hill. Not much else nearby, so transportation is needed either by Uber, keke or motorcycle taxi. Getting a vehicle to the house itself is difficult at best because of the extremely tight "street" leading to the gate. Better to stop at the soccer field & walk in."
