“Fantastische Aussicht, sehr gute Zimmer, gutes Essen, sehr freundlich. Toller Pool auch wenn wir ihn nicht genutzt haben. Wer es ruhig mag - Das hotel liegt Abseits im Westen der Insel. Es gibt aber ein kleinen Laden und eine Pizzaria nur zehn Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Man kann gut mit dem Auto auf Entdeckungstour gehen. Das warme Buffet abends könnte etwas wärmer sein und die Küche im Apartment ist etwas spärlich ausgestattet. ”

“Without a doubt Calhetas best place to stay and eat. Small boutique hotel with high quality food, service, rooms/ houses and a cliff top location second to none. Staff provide attentive but not obtrusive service. Really lovely place to stay. Imagine sitting amidst the vines, fruit veg and flower garden by the lavender edged pool watching the sunset with wine from their own vines before sampling their Michelin type taster menu. Yep that’s Socalco. ”

“Fantastic holiday villa with 3 bedrooms with all of them their own separate shower and toilet. Nice view over the Atlantic Ocean and situated on a 5 minutes drive to Calheta where there is a beach and a supermarket dining options. We had a great stay in Madeira at Calheta Heights and would recommend this villa to everybody! Only remark we have, the TV set is quite small for such a big living room if you want to spend the evening "netflix-ing".”

“Beautiful view from the roof terrace and a great host. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Accessibility for those who are mobility restricted is more difficult so keep that in mind. Calheita is a nice village with good restaurants. Easy access by car to all hiking areas”

“Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer war fantastisch,jedoch hatten lag das Zimmer über dem Restaurant. Das hatte den Nachteil,das man morgens um 7.30 das Treiben im Restaurant hörte….und am Abend bis 21.30 . Meist hat es uns nicht gestört,Man stellt sich darauf ein und umgeht es . Möchte dennoch darauf hinweisen,damit man eventuell bei einer Buchung darauf achtet. Wir würden das Hotel sehr empfehlen und beim nächsten Besuch darauf achten.”

“Wij zaten in een prachtig appartement in een schitterende omgeving, met uitzicht op de Atlantische Oceaan. Onze gastheer en gastvrouw zijn leuke, vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Bij aankomst stond er een fles wijn klaar en lag er informatie over het huisje, de omgeving en tips voor activiteiten op Madeira. ”
