Understated elegance inside and out. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The staff were friendly, professional and could not do enough to make sure our stay was happy. The location was ideal, just a five minute stroll to the Colosseum.

"Superb hotel, great location"
We had a great week in Rome, the hotel is a 5-10 min walk from trastevere, where the best restraunts are located. And all the attractions are easily accessible, especially the colosseum which is around the corner. A great place to stay.

"Lovely hotel based almost next to the colosseum. "
Beautiful hotel located within walking distance from most of Rome's top sites. Lovely modern decor with great facilities. The only downside was the wifi playing up, but downstairs in the bar area it worked perfectly. We really did enjoy our stay!

"Location! "
While our hotel room was small, the bed was comfortable & room kept clean. The decor was nicely thought out too! Unfortunately the walls had evidence of mould & water damage which may be a sign of the age of the building. It did make the to seem damp which was a shame! The staff were all very very helpful, friendly and made us feel at home. The location was key! This hotel was right next to The Forums & around the corner from the Colleseum... We were here over New Year's Eve and in the heart of a party (fireworks/concert/dancing). Absolutely brilliant!

"Great location "
Fantastic first experience in Rome. Hotel was too norice. Clean, felt very modern in its Italian style and close to all points of interest. Staff were helpful, always available and spoke good English. Only critisism is tea / coffee facilities in room would be a nice addition as can only get hot beverages at breakfast time. Aside from that would still give the hotel a 5 star rating. Definitely recommend highly.

Pocket Guide: Rome Colosseum 4 stars Independent Hotels

The heart of Ancient Rome, all roads led to the Forum. Visitors flock here to walk the streets where Julius Caesar once trod when this was the centre of commercial, political and judicial life. Nearby, the Colosseum, described by Lord Byron as 'the gladiators' bloody circus', is the world's most famous amphitheatre and the most impressive of all Rome's buildings and ruins.
