"We had a great time at this hotel. The staff were incredible (shout out to Carlo for being an absolute gentleman and a very strong one at that for helping us with our luggage on all the stairs!). But the staff at the front desk were also so lovely. Our room was BEAUTIFUL. The big tub and bathroom were spotless. The view was incredible. The bed was also larger than most hotels in Italy and quite comfortable. The breakfast was also great and though we didn't have time to use the spa, it looked amazing. Also very walkable to Amalfi centre."

"The property is a bit dated. For Americans, there is no coffee/tea maker in the room. Breakfast is good, getting an Americano (espresso with water) makes the coffee cold. Showers are tiny and the door in my room didn’t close properly so the bathroom got wet. Finally, nobody really talks about the steps and vertical drops for Positano. From the hotel to the road near the main shopping area is just under 400 steps (yes 400). This is more about Positano and the location of the hotel vs the hotel itself."

"Perfect location! Many shops/restaurants within walking distance. Also, it’s located next to beach which is a bonus. But, beach is not free so prepare to pay a lot per day to use beach. Rooms clean and staff friendly. Free breakfast was a plus."

"All the staff are great. Simona and Linda are really fantastic and helpful. I was given an upgrade because it was my second time there, however, I found the room to be smaller than the first time. The balcony was the only thing that was bigger. But everything was clean and well taken care of."

"Our two-night stay at Miramare was absolutely wonderful. Located in Positano, the hotel offers some of the most breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast. Waking up to such an incredible panorama was truly unforgettable. Everything about our stay was perfect, and it was the ideal place to experience the beauty of Positano. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent location for visiting the wider Amalfi coast. The hotel is actually in San Gennaro near Praiano. San Gennaro was a lovely village/town with excellent restaurants and bus service. The hotel has wonderful views of the Amalfi coast to Positano and as far as Capri in the distance. We highly recommend booking a table for dinner on the hotel balcony, both for the view as well as the quality of the food. The rooftop pool area was a delight following a day visiting/touring the coastal towns. I cannot compliment the hotel staff highly enough for the level of service and their cheerful attitude, which is a credit to the hotel owners who themselves were equally helpful. We booked a room without a balcony which was clean (always a priority) and perfectly functional - the rooftop area more than compensated for the lack of view from the room"
