"A bit far, good if you like isolation"
The facility was fine - cooked breakfast was delicious and well prepared. Very friendly hosts. The only reason we would not give it '5' for everything was the location. It was quite a drive from the main tourist area IF you are there for only a day or so (as we were). IF we were there just to hike and see the outer areas it would be a '5'. Nice touch were the liqeurs offered if you would like. They have dogs - we enjoyed them but some people might not - they did not bother anything / they were awesome.

Fantastic comfortable king size pillow top bed. Spacious lots of room to move. Beautiful decor and lovely view over Loch Ness. Thirty minutes from Inverness but would stay again and would recommend.

Pocket Guide: Scottish Highlands Loch Ness 4 stars Hotels

Known as the home of 'Nessie', the monster supposedly lurking in the depths of Scotland's most voluminous lake, Loch Ness is a popular destination in the Highlands. Ramblers can explore the medieval ruins of Urquhart Castle, whilst more experienced walkers can hike the 113 km of the Great Glen Way. Cruises operate all year so visitors can appreciate Loch Ness from its best vantage point: the water.
