"No complaints about this venue at all. Once you get used to the slightly quirky nature of some of the fittings, such as a bat hanging from a light and red bed linen with black bed bedstead, it was what you would expect from a guest house. Breakfasts were great. As a bonus, you are provided with a parking permit free of charge (the hotel we stayed in in Scarborough charged £5 per night for this). "Arrived later in the evening, welcome pack was ready for us. Room was small but had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Nice view from seating area in room and in a great location for exploring Whitby. Parking was made easy with a permit which cost £5 for the weekend. We left the car at the hotel for the weekend and walked everywhere. Would recommend this guest house, we had no problems at all during our stay. "
