"Great location, but noisy "
Stayed in an executive room on the 6th floor, room was very nice but looking over the strand so was very noisy all night. Rooms very hot! They really need air conditioning and some sound proofing then would be great. Hotel staff at check in were excellent, at the executive breakfast not the same standard, but good was good Overall a good stay but need ear plugs if you want a good nights sleep.

We stayed at CQ Hotels for 6 nights in Superior Room with kitchenette and we love it. Sooo roomy for the 3 of us and so close to everything. So centrally situated. And the staff are amazing. Very helpful and they are all lovely. Would stay there again.

"great hotel like stepping into an IKEA room"
A five minute walk from Paddington. I read reviews that it was difficult to find. I did a quick google map search before traveling and found it very easy to navigate. Immaculate room, very helpful to have tea and coffee available in the room. Mini refrig as well with still and carbonated water each day. Towels were super soft. Bed was hard. The bed really needs a synthetic down coverlet on top of mattress. We both had achy hips after sleeping several nights. They turned down the sofa bed which we needed each night. Lobby simple. A/C worked great but no vent in the bedroom. Only in living room so temps were very different in each room. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again. Safe neighborhood, great pub, Victoria Pub a 5-7 min walk. Quick restaurants on the way to Paddington for breakfast etc.

"Nice hotel close to tubes"
Good location, small room, helpful staff. Did not eat at hotel so cannot speak to food or pricing. Beds had little support. Major concern was black mold on bathroom ceiling.

"Charming Hotel, Close to Earl's Court Station"
I stayed here 11 nights for a long-planned, first-time London vacation. I thought the rate I was offered via Expedia was very reasonable. The front of the hotel and certain features make it obvious that this was originally a series of single-family terrace homes -- it made the atmosphere all the more appealing. The rooms are a bit small by American standards -- but I understand that's true of just about all London hotels. They are nevertheless clean and comfortable. Just accept the size, enjoy the ambience, and use the available amenities to expand your space. All staff members were unfailingly helpful and courteous -- they provided excellent and prompt service. The lobby, bar, and restaurant areas were clean and attractive, but the most outstanding feature was a lovely back garden with interesting sculptures and varied comfortable seating areas. It was a really great spot to unwind with a glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing, and to chat with fellow travelers. A large orange cat helped to provide local character. You can get rates that include daily breakfast. I did not, and didn't miss it. I ate breakfast at the hotel once; I preferred picking up some juice or water and a pastry at any of the number of little stores that I passed on my way to the tube station. The Earl's Court tube station is a short distance from the hotel -- it was nearly effortless to get from there to all of the major sightseeing areas.

"Great hotel, perfect base for getting around"
We stayed here for a long weekend for our 10th wedding anniversary, it was the perfect base for getting around London with 4 tube stations around 5-10 minutes walk away. We mostly used Bayswater tube station on the circle line as it got you around all the touristy places quickly and easily. The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to help out, they booked tours for us, advised us on things to do and places to go. We would definitely book this hotel again
