“This was our first experience staying at Shinola although we knew about the hotel's reputation as a premier property in Detroit. It was just a one-night stay, but we had an incredible experience. “The room was nice and spacious. There were a few areas that did not look clean. 1. The back splash behind the bathroom sink had makeup stains and the lotion bottle had a makeup smudge on it. 2. We also notice the head board in one of the rooms was pretty stained up and 3. Used the washer and dryer noticed in the dryer vent that it looked as though the vent had not been cleaned in sometime. Walls could use a fresh coat of paint along with the cabinets. It was also very cold in there even though……
