"Nice hotel in good location, but parking's limited"
I arrived (by car) late in the evening, and couldn't find a free parking space in the hotel's parking lot. Instead, the staff directed me to a commercial parking space in an office nearby, knowing that the office staff wouldn't be needing the space the next morning (Sunday). But if I hadn't arrived on a Saturday (or Friday) evening, I might have been SOL.
Apart from this, the hotel was comfortable, and only about 1km from the Dresden Altstadt (old town). It's also very close to the Dresden main railway station.

Immediate early check in. I arrived irritated, 24 hour flight. I had triuble using the phone and Simply hung up on reception. A few moments later a young lady presented to show me how to do international dialing.
Any questions? Each staff person seemed to know pretty much everything from where to find a special German dish to museum hours. It was like a hotel full of concierges
The grounds? Incredible. You feel like you are on was was a Palace.
The only change I would suggest? Extra lighting in the bedrooms with triple wattage for seniors and some English channels other than talking head news types.
I've seen enough of "The Donald" to do me this lifetime.

Hotet onthe whole very good. Convenient location, friendly English speaking staff. The room and ensuite were spacious and clean. Our only complaint was were arrived in a heatwave and spent 3 very uncomfortable nights trying to sleep. The hotel requires airconditioning or at least overhead fans inthe rooms.
