"For international travelers, this is an Awesome option when you have an early flight out of Heathrow. This stay was our 2nd time relocating to Hilton Paddington. the night before departure. The Hilton literally has an exit into the station - with a convenient Starbucks before an escalator which deposits you very nearly into the queue for Heathrow Express. The staff can be amazing or stuffy - the rooms well kept or worn - the pipes quiet or choral. It’s a hit or miss - but worth it. There’s also the option of a taxi stand in case you land unaware at an abandoned station out on strike. Dining options in the area are limited but, heck, give the local pubs a try. Good luck!"
