We normally stay at the Hotel Phillips, but on a short notice couldn't get a room there and were looking for something with similar styling and classic feel. The Ambassador fit the bill perfectly, and frankly, we'll be staying there now in the future any time we come to KC. It was great!
Absolutely loved the nostalgia of this 1930's Hotel. It is recently remodeled, but still has the wonderful aura of a time gone by. The staff were very accommodating & pleasant. The hotel was very clean. I enjoyed my 4 day stay very much!
Nice hotel, maybe a little pricey for the area. Drinks in the bar are a little overpriced too. Stayed for 3 nights recently and was surprised the room wasn't cleaned diring my whole stay. Granted, I did have the do not disturb sign up a few times for conference calls but was out of the room for many ...
We were here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed our weekend stay. From the Jazz on the Greens to the Sunday Brunch. Everything was superb!
The hotel was excellent, the organization of where they had things as not the greatest. The only bad was the dinner at the hotel, terrible but they refunded peoples money. Overall not bad.
We liked the room and bathroom. Was clean, people were friendly. It is connected to a casino and casino restaurants so they do not have breakfast or coffee in the lobby. We did not try the restaurants because they smell a bit smokey due to the Casino. The hotel did not smell Smokey.
Went to Kansas City for a convention and found this hotel to be very close to the convention center and some really good food. Reasonable rates and a great staff ready to serve your needs. Highly recommend this Hotel.
Lovely, beautiful hotel, very comfortable. You do have to pay extra for parking, and the only wifi in the rooms cost $9 a day.
