Staff was very polite and receptive. Gave us each a glass of wine at registration and a bag of popcorn. Hotel was very quite and had great coffee in lobby in the mornings .
When we were checking in, the clerk asked if we wanted to upgrade to a nicer room as the room we paid for was un renovated and old. Obviously, we were a little apprehensive going into our room. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was actually very nice and the bathroom was very quite updated. ...
We've stayed here 3 times over the past couple of years. It's a great location with convenient parking across the street and is walking distance to Union Square. It does not have room service, but Jasper's downstairs is an ok bar and grill. The rooms are clean, but are starting to show their age. ...
Clean but service levels low. Requested extra towel and wine glasses for two days, never came. Overall a clean and good hotel for just sleeping. Good location. Free water bottles were great!
Too long a wait to check in with so many staff working at 8 pm Sunday night. Place was not that busy and 5 people on line waiting to check in. Not a big deal but unnecessary. Also, restaurant staff terrible at breakfast. No service at my table.
My SF experience was great. The only disappointment was we never were allowed to go up to the 36th floor to see the beautiful views that were talked about.
Avoid the queen bed room if possible very small room

The reason my review is not 5/5 is because they list a hot tub by the pool, but ...
Very clean and very comfortable! Only complaint is regarding the terrible out-of-control homeless situation on nearby streets (hundreds of unfortunate souls). Did not feel safe walking far from hotel. SF is going down the tubes!
