Guests were very pleasant and accommodating. They stayed up late to greet us even though we were 2 hours late in arriving. Rooms were spacious and pleasant. And Steven is a good cook as well. Proximity between Savannah and Jekyll Island were about right. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again.
Owners and or management were very nice, some of the desk staff not do much. I expected much more knowledge of local events and what to do. Not real helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were large and comfortable, just a view of a bar next door.
We had a great room with balcony. The staff were all nice and helpful. Wonderful communal breakfasts. Only negative is it is a bit of a walk to some parts of Savannah although it's right next to Forsyth park. Definitely would go back.
The Eliza Thompson House is superb. From the morning breakfast to the afternoon wine and cheese on to evening desserts, it can't be beat. Staff is amazing. Rm 139 bathroom is very small.
The location of the hotel is pretty unique as it's a 10 min walk from downtown. I found this as a positive as it gives you the opportunity to see the squares and neighborhoods outside of the city center in much more detail, as the city center is where the majority of the hotels are located. The hotel ...
Love the decor and ambiance here! Very cool. Did not understand excessive "charge authorizations" since we booked through Expedia. We will come back but will have better clarification up front as to use of our credit card.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is an elegant Victorian with all the comforts of home. We liked the quiet residential location and enjoyed having a small pool. The innkeeper Chemise is a wonderful hostess, friendly, efficient & a terrific cook!
This is a great hotel in a great location. My daughter and I spent a long weekend there. It just right at City Market and just a couple of minutes from River Street. The tour trolleys stop right in front of the hotel. There are lots of good restaurants nearby and the historic district is within easy ...
The Kehoe house is a wonder in itself. Beautiful outside and amazing inside. The outside is brick and iron. The inside is heavy wood and chandeliers sparkling with prisms. It is old. The rooms have modern amenities. The southern hospitality gushes. The staff was concierge rescue team. Whatever you ...
