Decent Marriott in very convenient downtown location. Staff is mostly youngish and most are not knowledgeable about what's good in the local area, what is open late/on Sunday, etc...but they try very hard and are exceptionally nice.
We had a nice visit. The staff was helpful. There was some inconvenience because the elevators kept breaking down but overall it wasn't a huge inconvenience. The hotel is showing its age a bit, but it was fine for an overnight stay.
Very nice old hotel in downtown St Louis with surprisingly large rooms for a old hotel. Very friendly staff and close enough to walk to Bush stadium. Parking at the hote is limited (I knew this before booking the hotel for the weekend) but the lot across the street is safe and well lit.
The hotel is close to the arches and in the downtown area. I wanted to stay another day. Even though the hotel was busy The staff was patient and I never felt rushed.
Weekend stay with family -- the suite worked well as we each had our own rooms and the living room with TV and couches was great place for mornings and evenings. Bed super comfortable, sheets 100% cotton, and the pool was fabulous. I would go again just to hang out by the pool.
