“Staff was just okay. Not super welcoming. The hotel is older and just not kept up well. The lobby and restaurant were nice enough but the room wasn’t up to Double Tree standards. My door wouldn’t seal closed, my bathroom door wouldn’t even close shut all the way it was too big for the door frame, there was mold on the ceiling and the pillows smelled moldy. I left a day early because I didn’t want to stay another night.”

“Certain staff seemed to be under the impression that they were much better than the patrons, and couldn’t take the time to give great support. Some were exemplary ”

“Breakfast at a nearby restaurant was extremely inconvenient & expensive. Had to tell frontdesk and housekeeping that room needed made. Had to go ti cart to get tissues replaced. Shower door handle fell off. My husband had to pseudo fix it.”

“We did eat breakfast but the day of check in we enjoyed lunch, very good! We stayed in The Barn, the room was very clean and beautiful. Our only problem we found was the mattress was way too soft. My husband and I both agree they need a new mattress. Everything else was excellent ‼️”

“What a special place! This is such a lovely home and peaceful place. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and spacious. It was so nice to watch the sunset from the dock and enjoy the view from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Ms. Debbie offered us breakfast on our schedule, and it was fresh and delicious. We’ll definitely plan to stay here when we return to the area.”
