We stayed one night in this hotel. The room was large, well equipped, and had one bathroom and one shower room. The children's part of the room had bank beds and a door between it and the main bedroom. There were Tv's in both rooms.
The staff spoke good English. The room was clean and in good condition.
It was an easy walk to many shops and restaurants.

Modern hotel with four-star amenities, excellent location to shopping, culture, sports. Simply park the car and go! Quiet neighborhood, with beautiful park across the street, state-of-the-art gym and spa 50 ft. away, two-block walk to the heart of the main shopping street in Escaldes and Andorra la Viella, all kinds of restaurants and cultural attractions.

Golden Tulip is conveniently located at the end of the main shopping street and short walk to Caldea SPA. The hotel is quite modern and very clean. Soft fluffy towels but no body lotion. Staff is very friendly and pleasant. Only when asked to call back to confirm anything, wouldn't do so. Probably too busy, but all requests fulfilled. Breakfast is ok. Free coffee and some snacks provided in the lobby. Transfers to the ski lifts are available, but the bookings are total waste of time - the drive (very nice) but speaks no English and has no list of bookings. So you could just turn up and take a seat, i.e. first come first served basis. There are ski lockers in the garage.
Overall, enjoyed my stay and would recommend.

The majority the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley rests in Escaldes - Engordany parish. Andorra's treasured UNESCO World Heritage site, the stunning landscape of pastoral hills and fields looks much as it did hundreds of years ago. Restored herder cabins can be viewed, and cattle are still raised in the valley. The Escaldes-Engordany Arts Centre features displays on Andorran Romanesque art.
